The episode, aptly named ‘Twins’ features a pair of twins trained in the dark side of the force, to take over the galaxy. The episode is outside of canon.

Ann And Tann Gella – 'Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace'

These Twi’lek sisters were massaging Sebulba as he got ready for the pod race.

Tiplar And Tiplee – 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars'

Voiced by actor Anna Graves, Tiplar and Tiplee took part in the Battle of Ringo Vinda.

Brea And Senni Tonnika – 'Star Wars: Episode V - A New Hope'

The sisters only have a brief appearance in the Mos Eisley Cantina, but they later come back in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and the Legends novel series A Certain Point of View

Amaiza And Jodelle Foxtrain – 'Star Wars' (1977)

The sisters initially worked as dancers but when Jodelle was killed in a raid, Amaiza decided to toughen up and get herself a pair of blasters. Foxtrain was one of a group of brand new characters that Lucas introduced in graphic novels between the release of Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope and Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back. This also included Jaxxon. Amaiza Foxtrain was made canon by The Star Wars Adventures Annual (2018)

Ceret And Terec – 'Star Wars: The High Republic' (2021)

The twins were transgender, non-binary, and shared a collective consciousness. The High Republic series ran for fifteen issues and is canon.

Kertas And Rismor – 'Rogue One – Cassian & K2SO Special'

These two make a brief appearance in the graphic novel, spying for the rebellion. This graphic novel is canon.

Shado And Astraal Vao – 'Star Wars: Legacy' (2006)

After the death of their parents, Shado Vao became a Jedi Knight while Astraal worked as an Imperial Missionary. When Darth Talon attempts to take over the galaxy, the twins hide Emperor Fel and his daughter and join forces with Cade Skywalker. This series is part of the Expanded Universe/Legends

Ciena And Wynnet Ree – 'Star Wars: Lost Stars' (Claudia Gray)

Wynnet died when she was only a few hours old, leaving Ciena to mourn her for the majority of her life. Ciena was an imperial pilot who rose to the ranks to be one of the youngest Star Destroyer Captains of her era. She fought at Yavin and Endor before being finally captured at The Battle of Jakku.

Bink And Tavia Kitik – Star Wars Insider Short Story, 'Heist' (Timothy Zahn)

These thieving twins first appeared in a short story in Star Wars Insider magazine, penned by Timothy Zahn, but they went on to feature in two of his works Winner Lose All and Scoundrels.

Gilly And Spence -'The Last of the Jedi: Underworld' (Jude Watson)

Members of The Erased, a group who tried to escape persecution from the Empire by erasing all memory of their existence. It didn’t go so well for them.

Jacen And Jaina Solo – 'Heir To The Empire' (Timothy Zahn)

The children of Leia Organa and Han Solo (according to the Expanded Universe) are introduced in Timothy Zahn’s trilogy. They go on to play a major part in the ensuing books, including the New Jedi Order series. Both children are force-sensitive and also inherit Solo’s piloting skills.

Rewinda And Lozira Briil - 'Han Solo’s Revenge' (Brian Daley)

Smugglers who worked out of Nar Shaddaa, at times they partnered with Han Solo and other rebels.

Shimrra Jamaane and his brother - 'New Jedi Order' Book Series

A little-known fact about the Yuuzhan Vong overlord who terrorized the galaxy in the New Jedi Order series. He had an unnamed twin brother.

Taryn And Trista Zel – 'Legacy Of The Force: Invincible'

These Hapans, not only looked like each other, they were dead ringers for their cousin, Tenel Ka Djo, the Queen of the Hapes Consortium. They acted as her security and body double.

Zan And Zu Pike – 'Shadows Of The Empire' (Steve Perry)

Masters in Teräs Käsi, Zan and Zu worked for the infamous crime lord Prince Xizor as part of the Black Sun Syndicate.

Dorin And Denuab Venithon - 'Wanted By Cracken' (Louis J. Prosperi)

The Ithorian pirate twins appeared in a list of wanted criminals supposedly published by the Rebel General, Airen Cracken. The book was an accompaniment for RRPG games. The Venithons also made a cameo in Alliance Intelligence Reports by Bill Smith, the novella that was supplementary to Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.

Marci And Darci Sertim - 'Planet Of The Mists (Nigel D. Findley)

Female mercenaries out to avenge the death of their older sister Gayle.

Arcann And Thexan – 'Star Wars: The Old Republic Series'

Also known as the Eternal Twins, these boys were the sons of Emperor Valkorion. Arcann attempted to kill their evil manipulative father, but his brother stepped in to stop it. The two brothers dueled, and Arcann killed Thexan, as a final step towards the dark side. Arcann ended up taking over the galaxy, ruling as a tyrant until his sister and mother decided to step in.

Dasariah And Vil Kothos – 'Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy'

Also known as The Reborn Twins, these dark Jedi did not use lightsabers. Instead, the Kothos brothers had exceptional acrobatic skills and force mastery.

Koob And Lizz – 'Star Wars Jedi: Survivor'

Members of the Stinger Mantis crew, and allies of Cal Kestis

Seer'aa And Teer'aa - 'Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords'

Twi’lek bounty hunters better known as the Twin Suns assassins.

Tia And Ghia - 'Star Wars Demolition'

These young female pilots were forced into Jabba’s demolition games when he discovered their rebel affiliations. They are playable characters in Star Wars Demolition.

Trilinae And Milinae Untaire - 'The Living Force: Dark Shadows'

Trilinae Untaire was a Jedi who survived Order 66, only to be captured and end up as a member of the Inquisitorius. Milinae Untaire did not go with her sister into the Jedi Order and became an infamous Corellian smuggler.
